ABOUT ME
Born and raised in Jamestown, NY, I have been surrounded by quality music since I was very young. This drove me to pursue Music Education as an undergraduate at West Virginia University, where I was very active in the Symphonic Band, Wind Symphony, Mountaineer Marching Band, and Basketball Pep Band. Additionally, I was an active member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity, of which I remain an active alumnus to this day. Following my graduation Cum Laude in December of 2014, I went on to my first teaching job as the Director of Bands and the Director of Fine Arts at Trinity Christian School in Morgantown, WV. After two and a half years of dedicated service and leading the Trinity Bands to superior ratings at ACSI and WVSSAC festivals, I returned to WVU to pursue my Master of Music degree in Conducting, where I studied with Dr. Scott Tobias. As I worked through my graduate studies, I served as a graduate assistant with the WVU Bands. This afforded me many opportunities, from working with elite collegiate concert ensembles to conducting bands at NCAA Division 1 football, basketball, and volleyball games. Also during my graduate studies, I was fortunate to be initiated as an Honorary Member by the Omicron Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi National Band Fraternity. I currently work as a band director in the Baldwinsville Central Schools District, where I also serve as the brass instructor for the award-winning Baldwinsville Marching Band and Pep Band. My ultimate goal is to facilitate future generations' ability to have the same opportunities I was afforded through engagement with the arts.
